The Venetian Resort & Casino is perhaps one of the more elegant hotels located on the Las Vegas Strip. Italy is yours at this hotel. About the Hotel:

While the elegance of The Venetian Resort & Casino will astonish you, the amenities offered to guests will simply amaze you. Luxury at every corner. Staff does go out of their way to make you feel special and care for all of your needs. Suites are large and spacious. Decor in the suites is just as beautiful as the public areas.With 4,049 suites in both towers of The Venetian Resort & Casino, this is indeed one of the larger destinations in Las Vegas.

Hotel amenities are Laundry, Luggage and Maid Service, Concierge, Rental Car Reservation Desk, Golf Reservations, Safety Deposit Boxes, Wake-up Call and direct access to the Sands Expo Center, are all standard hotel amenities. Also Room Service, Business Center, Three Pools and one Jacuzzi in the main area, one pool and three jacuzzis at the Venezia Tower. Some of the pools are heated during the winter months. Convention rooms total 1.9 million square feet in total, including three ballrooms, 64 meeting rooms, and3 board rooms and the Sands Expo Center. Shuttle service to the airport is available from an outside company for a fee.

In-Suite amenities are also first class all the way down to the beautifully large Italian Marble Bathrooms, Tall Ceilings, full windows and a very large sitting area one step below the bedroom area. Concierge Level Suites offer additional amenities including private access, executive lounge with food and beverage service, daily newspaper, coffee/tea delivered with a wake-up call and DVD players. Also included in general suites are air, fax machine, alarm clock/radio, electronic door locks, in room safe, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, minibar, telephone with voice mail, remote-controlled cable TV. What more could you want in your home away from home.


Location:

Imagine 120,000 square feet of hustling gaming space. Casino table games includes Blackjack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Let It Ride and Keno and all the newest table games being introduced in Las Vegas. 2,500 Slot and Video Poker Machines round out this extremely fun and elegant casino.

ATTRACTIONS:

Gondola Ride at the Venetion
The Venetian Resort & Casino has as a part of its charm man-made canals in which you can take a ride in authentic gondolas complete with singing gondoliers. Weather permitting, the gondolas travel inside and out of the hotel. You will truly feel as if you are in Venice. Open: Sun-Thurs, 10am-11pm, Fri-Sat 10am-11:45pm. Ticket sales open at 9am. Ticket prices: Indoor Gondola Ride $15/adult, $7.50/child (12 and under). Outdoor Gondola Ride $15/adult, $7.50/child (12 and under). Private Gondola rides are available for a fee.

Guggenheim Hermitage Museum

The world famous and highly respected Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia collaborated with the Solomon S.Guggenheim Foundation in New York and created The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum in the Venetian Hotel. With ever-changing exhibits and permanent masterpieces you will see some of the finest works of art in the world. Open daily 9:30am-8:30pm. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. Tickets:$19.50/adult, $16.50/seniors and Nevada Residents, $14.50/student, $9.50/children 6-12, Free for children under 6. Annual tickets are available for $60.

Las Vegas Preview Studios at the Venetian

You can be a part of history. Test products, comment on advertising, movies and television shows, slot machines and even food. Open daily 11am-9pm. Free admission.

Madame Tussauds Interactive Wax Attraction
Wax museums will never be the same once you see Madame Tussauds Interactive Wax Museum. Amazingly life like replicas of some of the most famous people in the world are all here for everyone to enjoy, look at and even touch. The detail put into everyone of the exhibits is truly unbelievable. You will think you are standing with the famous people you see. Now even more interactive, you can actually play basketball with Shaq and perform a dance routine with Britney Spears. Most of the exhibits not only look life like, but they are actually wearing clothes that the real life person actually wore. Always fun and amazing to see. Open: Daily, 10am-10pm.
