Overview:

At the northern most end of the Las Vegas Strip, The Stratosphere Las Vegas is visible from anywhere in the City. The Tower, it's signature attraction, stands 1,149 feet high, is the tallest observation tower in America. The Stratosphere is the closest property to Downtown Las Vegas and just 1.3 miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center. With thrill rides, fine restaurants, and great entertainment, you will find that the Tower is not the only reason to come and visit the Stratosphere.


About the Hotel:

The Stratosphere Las Vegas offers 2,444 spacious guest rooms and suites in 3 different Towers. Regency Tower, one of the original hotel buildings, was completely renovated in 2005. World Tower, offers slightly larger rooms, also renovated in 2005. Premier Tower, opened in 2001, hold the newest and largest rooms. The Premier Tower also provides easy access to the 8th floor pool and recreation deck. It is also closest to the Casino.

A wide array of services are available to guests of the Stratosphere Las Vegas. Fitness Center, Roni Josef Salon Spa, Meeting and Convention Rooms, Car Rentals, Drycleaning Service, 24-hour Room Service, Business Center and Concierge are all here to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Also accessible to guests are Luggage and Maid Services, Wake-up Calls and Safety Deposit Boxes.

In-room amenities include: Remote-controlled TV/Cable, Pay-per-View Movies, Hair Dryer, Alarm Clock, Electronic Door Locks, Desk, Radio, Telelphone, Air conditioning

Another item, new to The Stratosphere, is Beach Club 25. This is a special area located on the 25th floor of the World Tower. Guests will have access to an adult only recreation area complete with a Pool, fitness equipment, table tennis, water volleyball and refreshments. Closed for Winter and reopens in Spring. Admission: Ladies-free, Men-$10.


Location:

80,000 square feet of gaming space, the Casino at the Stratosphere is always bustling. Over 50 gaming tables and 1,500 slot and video machines. Table games include all the favorites, Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Caribbean Stud, Pai Gow and Poker. Race & Sport Book and Keno round out all the gaming you could ask for.

The Courtyard Buffet Buffet - featuring food from all over the world.
Open: Brunch Mon-Sat 7am-3pm ($9.25), Champagne Brunch on Sunday 7am-3pm ($12.25). Dinner: Mon-Thurs & Saturday 4pm-10pm ($13.25), Steak & Seafood (Fridays only)4pm-10pm ($16.25), Seafood Night (Sunday) 4pm-10pm ($15.25).

There is also a 24 hour coffee shop, Deli, and some fast food restaurants and snack type shops as well.


Shoppping:

The Stratosphere offers the Tower Shops. Home to nearly 50 shops and 15 retail carts.


Special:

Attractions and Entertainment at the Stratosphere Hotel will give you great thrills and excitement.

The Tower is itself an exciting attraction. Visitors are taken from ground level to the observation decks in less than 30 seconds in double decker elevators traveling at speeds of 1,800 feet per minute or three floors per second. What is even more exciting is that there are thrill rides at the top of the Tower. Big Shot takes you up 160 additional feet in the air. Experience zero gravity. High Roller is a state of the art roller coaster, set high above the Strip. XScream is a thrill ride that sends riders 27 ft. over the edge of the Stratosphere, over 900 feet above the Strip. Insanity Dangles and spins riders over the edge of the outdoor observation deck again, 900 feet above ground.

Conclusion:

For excitement that cannot be found at any other hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, you have to visit the Stratosphere Hotel. Roller Coasters set high above the ground, fine restaurants, reasonable rates, friendly service, all are great reasons to explore the Stratosphere Hotel.
